Only a little earlier than originally scheduled, but signups are ready to go! Just go to the collection on the AO3 and click on the 'Sign Up' button.

You will need to submit 4-6 requests and 4-10 offers. Each request must be for a unique fandom and may include up to 10 pairings. Each offer must be for a unique fandom and can include up to 15 20 pairings. For offers, you may also check 'Any' if you're willing and able to create for any pairing listed under the fandom heading.

Check off the fandom on the list and then enter the pairings in the Relatonship box, comma separated. Tags much be entered exactly as they are in the tag set. If you click in the Relationship box, the Archive should populate a dropdown list so you can easily select your choices. Note: Some pairings may not show in the dropdown list, but if they're in the tag set, they are eligible. Just be sure to list the tag exactly as it appears in the tag set. (If you run into any problems with this, let us know and we'll investigate.) We have 528 pairings to choose from across 156 fandoms (including Crossover Fandom), so we're really looking forward to seeing what gets requested, offered, and matched.

Signups can be submitted and edited until the deadline of May 23rd at 8:00pm PDT.

ETA: As a point of clarification, matching will only require that at least one pairing is in common between the offer and the request. So do feel free to request as many pairings as you have an interest in - it won't reduce your chances of matching by doing so.

I noticed that some of the pairings in the tag set are not available for selection in the signups. For example, for both the fandoms Dark Angel and The Almighty Johnsons, there are four pairings for each in the tag set but only two for each fandom that can be requested/offered.

I was just wondering if maybe there was a mistake and the pairings shouldn't be in the tag set, or if there's a problem with the signups.

Ah, they're there, they're just not showing up in the auto-fill drop down, I think due to some issues with wrangling. As long as you enter them exactly as they're listed in the tag set, the sign up should accept it. I'll revise the statement above regarding the dropdown lists to reflect this.

Yes, that would be the place to put them. Note, however, that they are considered optional since we can't match based on them so authors/artists aren't required to follow them, though I think most people do and often appreciate having some guidance if you have some to give.

I had hoped to be able to offer to write almost every pair in all the fandoms I am familiar with. I hadn't realized each offer would have to be for a unique fandom so I didn't think the 15 pairs per offer limit would affect me, since I had planned to make two offers in one of the bigger fandoms to cover all the pairings I could write.

I'm trying to decide whether I can fairly offer "any" when there are at least 4 pairs I would not write.

The unique fandom qualifier is to help ensure that no one submits all of their offers for the same fandom with a single pairing as we need to have some diversity of offers to have better chances of matching requests - but I fully understand what you're saying. We've decided to up the number of pairings allowed in an offer to 20 (which is the maximum the AO3s sign up system allows). Hopefully this comes closer to covering what you want to offer and should help others to do the same.
